“Dreamwave” started with a drum beat, sixteen bars on repeat, and a rolling bass line. The lyrics didn't come from some hidden story. I liked the imagery, followed the feeling of the track, and let the song become what it wanted to be.

“Saylor Twift” started with a late-night arpeggio and became a song about sleep, missing memories, and the idea that maybe my husband and I meet somewhere in our dreams—even if neither of us remembers it.

“From the Sun to the Sea” was the second song I ever wrote. I was still learning Logic Pro, figuring out synthesizers, and discovering what Prophets of the Cosmic Darkness was going to become.
