Prophets of the Cosmic Darkness is a synthwave and retro-sci-fi music project created by Timmy Wakefield, blending cinematic electronic soundscapes with cosmic storytelling and neon-soaked atmosphere.

Inspired by the aesthetics of 1980s science fiction, dark synth, and space-disco, Prophets of the Cosmic Darkness creates immersive music that feels like a transmission from deep space. Each track combines pulsing analog synths, atmospheric vocals, and hypnotic rhythms designed for late-night drives, futuristic dreamscapes, and retro-futuristic worlds.

The project explores themes of cosmic isolation, human insignificance in the vast universe, love beyond time, and the mystery of existence. Through layered synthesizers and cinematic production, Prophets of the Cosmic Darkness delivers a sound that sits between synthwave, synthpop, and dark electronic music.

Based in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, the project continues to release original music and visuals inspired by space, neon, and the unknown.
